Best for

  • Parents who want Christmas printables with their children's names on them, without an email sign-up
  • Teachers running a winter or Christmas class party for 20–30 children who need one copy each
  • Hosts who want party games with answer keys for family, friends or the office

Not the best fit for

  • Ready-made illustrated décor such as banners, garlands or wall art (try Etsy designers)
  • Photo Christmas cards or invitations with your own pictures (a design editor such as Canva fits better)
  • Printing services: we make the PDF, you print at home, school or a copy shop

How it compares

Blog roundups
Often lovely illustrations, but they are fixed PDFs you can't type in, many sit behind an email sign-up, links go stale, and most are US Letter only.
Canva
Far more design freedom and photo templates, but it needs an account, some elements are Pro-only, and it has no bingo shuffling, word-search building or answer keys.
Etsy templates
Polished designs for a few dollars, usually edited in a separate app with a time-limited link; good for décor, more than you need for a class party.

Why these Christmas printables are different

Free like a blog download, but made for your names, your group and your paper.

Personalized, not fixed PDFs

Most free Christmas printables leave a blank line for you to write on. Here you type first: paste twenty names and get twenty gift tags, put the child's name in big outline letters on a coloring page, or fill in age, good deeds and the wished-for gift for a letter from Santa. Change your mind and the page redraws instantly.

Personalized Christmas printables: gift tags with names, a letter from Santa and a coloring page with a child's name

Ready for a class party of 30

Teachers need one copy per child and no surprises. Bingo makes up to 100 unique cards so nobody wins at the same time, word searches come with a separate answer key, and both have non-religious winter word lists for schools that hold a holiday party rather than a Christmas party. A black-and-white design saves color ink.

Christmas printables for a classroom party: picture bingo cards, word search sheets and coloring pages on a table

One place for the whole season

Start with the wish list in November, put the advent calendar on the fridge on December 1, let the elf arrive with its letter, play games at the party, tag the presents and leave the letter from Santa on Christmas Eve. All of these Christmas printables share the same look, so they feel like one set rather than ten different downloads.

How to plan your Christmas printables from November to Christmas Eve

A simple timeline so each printable arrives when you need it, plus the print settings that keep everything the right size.

  1. Mid to late November: wish lists and letters

Print the Christmas wish list so children can draw and write what they hope for, and write letters to Santa early: Canada Post asks for letters by December 9 in 2026 (Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, no stamp), USPS Operation Santa takes them until early December, and Royal Mail's Santa address is XM4 5HQ with a stamp.

    • Take a photo of each wish list before it goes in the envelope.
    • Make the gift budget list at the same time so the shopping plan matches.
  2. December 1: advent calendar and elf arrival

Advent calendars start on December 1 and run to the 24th. Print the activity poster for the fridge or cut out the daily cards. If your family has a scout elf, it usually arrives on December 1 or the day after Thanksgiving, with an arrival letter and a short note each morning.

    • Pick the 25-day version if you open the last square on Christmas Day.
    • Print elf notes 6 or 8 per page on cardstock and cut along the dashed lines.
  3. Mid December: class and office parties

Print one bingo card and one word search per guest, plus the calling cards and answer key for the host. Plan three to five games for a two-hour party, alternating quiet sheets with louder games. Coloring pages fill the gaps for younger children who finish early.

    • Use the winter (non-religious) lists if your school holds a holiday party.
    • Print 2 or 4 copies per page to save paper for trivia sheets.
  4. Christmas week: gift tags and the letter from Santa

Paste your gift list names into the gift tag maker and print one tag per present. On Christmas Eve, leave the personalized letter from Santa and the Nice List certificate by the cookies, or tuck them into the stockings.

    • Choose From Santa tags for presents that should come from the North Pole.
    • Use a different tag design for Santa's presents than for yours.
  5. Print at actual size on the right paper

Choose US Letter in the US and Canada or A4 elsewhere before you download, then print at Actual size or 100% (not Fit to page). Plain 20–24 lb (75–90 gsm) paper is fine for coloring pages, games and letters; use 65–80 lb (170–220 gsm) cardstock for gift tags, bingo cards and advent cards that get handled a lot.

    • Matte cardstock takes crayon and marker better than glossy photo paper.
    • A paper cutter makes 30 bingo cards or 24 advent cards quick to cut.

Christmas printables FAQ

Free use, personalization, classrooms, paper and dates.

Are these Christmas printables really free?

Yes. All ten Christmas printables are free with no sign-up, no email gate, no watermark and no paid download. Each page is drawn in your browser and the PDF or PNG is saved straight to your device, so nothing you type, including children's names, is uploaded.

Can I personalize the Christmas printables before printing?

Yes, that is the point of them. Add a child's name to coloring pages and Santa letters, paste a names list for gift tags or a class set of letters, type your own words for bingo and word search, and edit every trivia question. The preview updates as you type and you download only when it looks right.

What are the best free Christmas printables for kids?

For ages 2–5: coloring pages in the big and simple level, picture bingo and the wish list with drawing boxes. For ages 5–8: the easy word search, kids' bingo and a letter from Santa. For ages 9 and up: the hard word search, Christmas trivia and the detailed coloring pages.

Which Christmas printables work for a classroom party?

Bingo and word searches are the classics because every child can play at once: make 30 unique bingo cards with calling cards, and print a word search with an answer key. Add coloring pages for early finishers. Both bingo and word search have winter lists without religious words for schools that hold a holiday party.

Are there Christmas printables for adults?

Yes. The Christmas party games include movie trivia, would you rather, a holiday price is right and find-the-guest icebreakers for office parties. There is also an adults' bingo list, a hard 20×20 word search, a couples' advent calendar with date ideas and a gift list with budget totals.

Can I print these Christmas printables on A4 paper?

Yes. Every maker has a US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and an A4 (210 × 297 mm) option and redraws the layout for that size, so nothing is cut off. Choose the size before downloading and print at Actual size or 100%.

Can I use free Christmas printables in my classroom or church group?

Yes. You may print as many copies as you need for your family, classroom, church group, library or party, and small commercial use is allowed (see the terms).

When should I send a letter to Santa?

Early December. In 2026, Canada Post asks for letters by December 9 (Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, no stamp needed) and USPS Operation Santa accepts letters until early December. In the UK, Royal Mail uses Santa/Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ with a stamp. Check the official page for this year's deadline.

When does the Elf on the Shelf arrive?

Most families have the elf arrive on December 1 or the day after Thanksgiving and leave on Christmas Eve. The elf letter maker has arrival letters for a first year, a welcome back and a late arrival, a goodbye letter for December 24 and daily notes.
